By downloading, accessing, or using the Hook mobile application (“Hook,” “the application,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by this document.

The user confirms that:

• They are over the age of 18.
• They undertake not to present a false identity, and to register with personal, current, and accurate details.
• They understand that the application may contain content intended only for users over the age of 18.

We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the application. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate that account without notice.

Hook provides users with suggestions for message wording, opening lines, and communication ideas, based on artificial intelligence technology, for informational, assistance, and user-experience purposes only.

The Operator reserves the right to:

• Make changes to the application.
• Provide free and paid services to users.
• Introduce changes to this document and to the application’s services, including their validity and pricing, unilaterally and without prior notice to users.
• Send users notifications and updates by email, in accordance with the user’s profile settings.

Use of the application and of the content produced through it is at the user’s sole responsibility. The user is solely responsible for any decision, action, message, or content they choose to send or publish as a result of using the application, including compliance with the terms of service of any third-party platform (such as Tinder, Hinge, or Bumble) on which such content is used.

The user agrees not to use the application to:

• Generate or send content intended to harass, demean, threaten, or manipulate another person.
• Interact with, or attempt to interact with, anyone the user knows or suspects to be under the age of 18.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any safety features of the application.
• Present a false identity or register with inaccurate personal details.
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose.

The Operator does not warrant that the recommendations provided will be correct, accurate, or suitable to each user’s personal circumstances, or that they will lead to any particular outcome, including success in establishing contact, managing a relationship, or receiving a response from another person, or for any other purpose.

The application Operator, its employees, directors, suppliers, and service providers on its behalf shall not bear liability for any damage, loss, expense, emotional distress, reputational harm, loss of profit, or any direct, indirect, special, or consequential damage caused, directly or indirectly, as a result of use of the application, reliance on its content, or the conduct of the user or any third parties as a result of using it.

Without derogating from the above, the Operator is not responsible for content uploaded by users, the conduct of third parties, or the operation of external dating applications or services referenced by the user, including their availability or manner of operation, and does not warrant that the service will be continuous, free of malfunctions, or free of errors.

The application is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

• 6.1 Use of the application is subject to purchasing a paid subscription.
• 6.2 All payments are made through Apple’s App Store and are managed through RevenueCat. The Operator does not collect payment directly and does not store the user’s payment method details.
• 6.3 The subscription renews automatically unless the user cancels the renewal before the next billing date via the account settings in the App Store.
• 6.4 Cancellation of the subscription will take effect at the end of the paid subscription period and will not entitle the user to a refund for the remaining period, all in accordance with Apple’s policy.
• 6.5 The Operator may update subscription plans, service pricing, or commercial terms from time to time, subject to applicable law and Apple’s policy.

The Operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, without notice, if it determines — in its sole discretion — that a user has violated this document, including but not limited to attempts to generate content involving minors, harassment, or misuse of the application.

The Operator may introduce changes to this document, including its validity, unilaterally and without prior notice to users. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Any matter relating to the use of the application’s service shall be subject to Israeli law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and no other court shall have jurisdiction over this matter.
